Starting at 1, Manifesting in Love

There are a lot of exciting conversations about the numerology of the year 2026, and the possibilities it invites for the year ahead. When you add the numbers of our upcoming new year (2+0+2+6), you get ten, which in numerology gets reduced to a one. 

2026 = 1, the beginning of a new 9 year cycle, a fresh start for all.

The number 1 is a call to initiation, creation and new beginnings. Along with the year of the fire horse that will come in the lunar New Year on February 16, 2026, the year ahead is one of ambition, creation and forging space for authentic expression in our lives. 

It’s going to be an exciting year for creation! 

Depending on where you are at in your life, this can mean a lot of different things: A new career, a new relationship, maybe a new approach to your lifestyle that means more health and happiness. 

When I was reflecting on my own sense of what I am seeking to begin or change, I became aware of how easy it is to fall into self criticism. I started with: “I want to create a steady income opportunity that I love” to, “Yikes, I hope I make enough money this year!”

This old story of lack crept into my vision for the future!

Our desire to change comes from where we need to grow, which is a good thing! Sometimes our need for growth can lend itself too easily to criticizing ourselves. This dampens the spirit of manifestation, which is based on feeling first.

If we are in a negative frequency when we manifest our vision, it can impact the potential of what we can both create and receive.

So where does your new beginning start?

Is your new beginning based on Self Love? Or the need to be good enough for love?

What feels the best?

There is a big difference there. I believe the best thing we can all do for ourselves in 2026, is commit more to love. What amazing things we will all build for ourselves and the world if that’s where we start! 

In my spiritual journey so far, the more I’ve matured and evolved in my healing, I realize that the essential me is my ultimate goal.

This can be tricky when you are teasing through the variety of things you identify as or with, it can take time to get underneath all that and find you. But really, isn’t that the beginning of everything, the essential, unchanging Self? And I believe this Self comes from Love.

So how about this equation: you+love = endless possibilities
